Skateboard deck size?

Okay, so I used to just skateboard on my friend's board when I was just starting, then my brother got me a board but it wasn't really like one of those boards like Element or Baker. It was from target but you know i just went with it. I can skate really good on it but now it's breaking apart really bad mainly because it's cheap. But anyway getting to my question, I'm getting a new deck what size should it be? And if it helps my shoe size is 10.5

I have size 10 shoes and I ride an 8" wide board if that helps. The most common size is 7.75" wide, though. Any length between 31 and 32 inches long will work. I'd start with a 7.75" wide board.
