What's a good skateboard deck?

I'm 13 and I want to start skating. Its a big thing in my school but I don't know what kind of deck I want. I don't weight a lot, 85 lbs. I want a deck that will last and isn't that heavy. I'm leaning toward getting a Habitat.

I'd recommend getting an ATM or Mini Logo blank for a beginner. They are a little heavy and break easily, but they are affordable and sold at most skate shops. Also, if you are willing to spend more money, get a Zero or Plan B, they are light and very similar. For wheels, just pick any one, just make sure that they are 100% urethane. Companies for wheels don't matter, but the size does. Try to get small wheels around 50 - 52 if you will mostly be doing tricks and hanging at the parks, and get 54 - 56 if you plan to skate mostly street or freestyle. If you really just want to skate around and not do anything, get a longboard. For trucks, I'd recommend Tensors. They are light, and are good for all types of skating. They're also cheap, and come in lots of cool designs. For bearings, just get Reds. There is not much of a difference between bearings between price, but Reds are great for $15, and will last you a while if you clean them. For griptape, get Mob or Black Magic. Hope I helped!
