Skateboard Deck Protectors
What can you tell me about this skateboard?
skateboard video link- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y0f4OImQcBc
Skateboard details: - 55mm standard wheels
- 30" length x 10" width deck (old school - pool board - shovelnose shaped)
- Trucks are standard 7.5"+ wide
- Has plastic side protectors (front, back and sides)
Will this board suit well for cruising at good speed?
Will it look awkward and weird to ride this board on the streets?
It has a very wide space on its deck and is 30" long, so can I carve and ride down
a hill with it?
Any chances of speed wobbles?
you are looking at a Cruiser....
they are pretty nice boards but they are very sketchy at times...
i own 2 with rails (those side protectors you mentioned) i use them for riding around but i wouldn't bomb a hill.
if you are looking for speed and control, maybe look at a longboard, they are abit pricey but alot safer.
longboards come in different styles and sizes.
my longboard is 3 feet long and i can get some crazy speed without wobble.
after that i will better answer your question
Will this board suit well for cruising at good speed?
you can cruse pretty good but avoid huge hills
Will it look awkward and weird to ride this board on the streets?
you probably will, but who cares....older shaped boards are very hard to get use to because of the shape. but it isn't always about style.
It has a very wide space on its deck and is 30" long, so can I carve and ride down
you can crave and stuff if you have wide enough trucks, don't put 7.5 wide trucks on a 10 or 11 wide old school deck....remember they older styled decks don't have much concave or don't have any what so ever, so you will have less grip then a reggy deck.
a hill with it?
i wouldn't, they get pretty touchy with high high speed. the slightest move can destroy you
Any chances of speed wobbles?
if your bombing hills, yes.....if you want to bomb hills...buy a longboard
