sould i get new skateboard trucks a deck or what. Help?

I'm a beginer (i can ollie) and i have a element skate.Now here are some problems. I have this friend who is a skater i went with him to this place to get a skateboard. He choose the parts and i paid (duh). Anyway i have a problem.
1: the deck is to wide
2:Something is wrong with the trucks or bushing or something, because it keeps turning to the right. I asked around and they said to make them loose and then after 1 week tighten them up. I tried that and only thing that happened is that it makes a bad screech.
I went to my former friend and he said well sorry. get used to it!

should i buy new trucks or a deck or what.I only have 100$. If i get new truck what brand should get them or what. Any guides on how to buy trucks or something!!!!!!!!!!!

The deck is too wide huh? well i guess you should get a smaller board aroung 7.5 inches wide. but the trucks are fine they will squeak becuase you havent broken in the bushings yet. and the board turn to a single direction because you didnt break the bushings in. so dont worry just keep skating the trucks will fix themselves. get a blank skateboard about $20 they are just like pro boards except no graphic but evrything else seems fine. and dont get mad at your friend he's only trying to help you if you are mad then next time choose your own board!
