Are vans only for skaters?

cuz the other day i asked here wether some vans were cute, and everyone said yeah, if ur a skater. and im not a skater. but then i thought it was ok, cuz i got a lot of friends who were skater shoes, and they don't skateboard. i just bought them cuz i already of a lot of converse, flip flops, flats, sandals, etc, and i thought i would just switch it up and buy some vans. is it bad or something to wear skater shoes when ur not a skater? i mean, a lot of people wear jordans and they don't play basketball at all?! oh and im 14, if it matters

Haha, nah, anybody can buy vans. That's just a stupid stereotype. I wouldn't worry about it. The only thing I'd worry about is finding a cute outfit for them!
