Mini Skateboard Wheels
Skateboard help please please please?
Ok heres my situation:
A few weeks ago I bought a new skateboard, santa cruz powerply deck, enuff trucks, mini logo wheels, abec 7 bearings. Since I bought it I have been skating on wet surfaces and sometimes when its been raining. Its also gone in a puddle or two. Since the whole thing got coated in mud i used this grip tape cleaning guide: http://www.skateboard-city.com/messageboard/archive/index.php/t-129450.html Its seemed to work. My board has had the paint scratched off at the tail and it got all wet, my queston is will this affect my skateboard in any way, will i lose my decks pop?
yeah most likely it will be messed up... the wood isnt supposed to get wet and the bearings shouldnt either... the wood can rot or easily warp not and the pop will be gone.. and the bearings can rust and the lube could have washed out...
