How do I know what size skateboard I am?

I am about to get a skateboard ( my first one ) im 12 and my show size is about 7-8 mens, and i am like130lb

Also, if you know any good boards that'd be great

i alerady have an idea about how much my board will cost
im getting trucks from my friend

dosent mater...just pick one....over the years you will change the size of your board ....and years from now you will figure out whats best...i skated a 7.75 for 6 years...and the past three years ive been skating a 7.5 ... feet size dosent matter one bit.. . . wider boards are easier to catch and smaller boards are easier to flip....
