Longboard Skateboard Trucks
Is there a difference between skateboard trucks and longboard trucks?
I'm just wonder for the future. I might buy one and if it uses the same trucks as a skateboard then I could save some money. Thanks
Yes. Longboard trucks are wider and the posts are longer. It really wouldn't be good to interchange them. Also, get wheels made for a longboard. If you put short board trucks and wheels on a longboard, it pretty much defeats the purpose of even having a longboard. Oh! And try to steer clear of Gravity and Krown longboards. They just are not worth the money. Go look up Sector 9 boards!!!
