How do i tell what size deck i should buy for a skateboard?

If you have any links of any good websites to help with skateboarding and picking the right board please answer with them! thanks!

deck size is basically personal preferance, there is no sizing chart for it. If you're a smaller person with smaller feet you'll want something within 7.5, 7.6 or 7.75 which are very common size decks. You can go smaller also if you want but it'll be easier to get parts for these more normal size decks. A good beginner board is a complete one, that's already built the only thing is you cannot pick out what you want on it like bearings, wheels, trucks, grip tape. If you build one you can put whatever you want on it and most places will assemble it for free, online or a local shop. I put a good link to check out for buying a skateboard for beginners.
